Paul Hypolite

Paul is an experienced public affairs strategist with a demonstrated history working with political campaigns, labor unions, local and state governments, and companies in the private sector. He specializes in grassroots lobbying, coalition building, community organizing, grasstops advocacy, campaigns and elections. As a Senior Associate with Bolton-St. Johns, he advocates on behalf of a wide range of clients, including technology companies, non-profit service providers, cultural and higher education institutions, and civil rights organizations.

A talented community organizer, Paul has consulted on a number of issue-based, referendum, and electoral campaigns in Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina and New York. He has served in local and state governments for Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and NY State Senator Tim Kennedy; he has worked on federal campaigns for U.S. Senator Kay Hagan (North Carolina) and U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (Ohio); and as a political advisor for labor unions throughout Upstate and Western New York for NYSUT (the state teachers union).

A proud New Yorker born in Queens, Paul graduated from Ohio University with a master’s degree in Political Science, focusing on political representation in American politics. He has organized coalitions throughout his career to increase participation and inclusion in the political process for often marginalized groups; including women, people of color, and low-income communities.
